 Poem on friend


One who is always looking forward to meeting you

One who is always there for you

One who promised will never leave you

One who is always by your side, when no one else is there for you


Somebody you can share every secret of yours

Somebody who laughs at your silly jokes

Somebody who can calm you down

And knows how to make you laugh

Somebody who is like your half

   

You cannot be bought or sold

 because you are more than gold

You are like a four-leaf clover 

Hard to find and lucky to have


Today I have realized that diamonds and  pearls aren’t as important to have

Because friends like you more than that!

  When I first met you I didn't know that we'll get so close And I will trust you the most I still remember that innocent-looking face And the eye contact you made with grace  There was once a time when we were always on each other's team But why is it now that I look back it all seems like a dream? There are secrets that I have held in my heart  Maybe only the backspace knows the story from the start Every time I try to speak my heart  Somebody comes and breaks it into parts What is wrong with the society? Why is everybody I know suffering from anxiety?  Give her a break  Let her be for God's sake Don't let your expectations crush her dreams When you are not near she screams There are secrets that I have held in my heart  Maybe only the backspace knows the story from the start
