Wish to be a kid

A time when everybody was a friend
Everyone was pure and never had to pretend 
A time when I doubted the moon 
And felt that it was following me like a kid behind a balloon 

When mom forced you to go to bed
But you played with your toys instead 
Sleeping was a punishment then 
But now look at you sleeping in the morning till ten

Looking at the rainbow was then fun
But now the physics behind it is shooting you like a gun
There was a time when you wished to grow up soon
Because you thought life would be much better when you had your own room 

Now all you want is to relive those moments 
Cuz current ones are a disappointment
Childhood was the best 
Your dictionary then never had the word depressed. 

Now wealth and materialistic things don't matter to you 
But you just want your childhood to be given back to you.
